A federal court order made last week will allow more than 3,000 immigrants living in Idaho to apply for an extension for protections against deportation afforded to them through an Obama-era program that the Trump Administration had sought to end.
Immigrants receiving protection through the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, DACA, whose protections expired in October can now start applying for renewals, according to an update on the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) website Saturday night.
