Two Idaho women were arrested in Washington, D.C. Tuesday along with several activists from around the country who gathered to protest on behalf of immigration reform.
Estefania Mondragon of Nampa and Elizabeth Almanza of Boise were arrested during a United We Dream protest in Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s Washington D.C. office, along with a dozen other protesters. They were released after being held for two or three hours, according to Mondragon.
