Legal Experts Discuss Immigration Law Under Trump Administration Feb. 15

The University of Idaho College of Law Legal Aid Clinic and the Multicultural Law Caucus will host a panel discussion examining immigration law and issues facing immigrants under the Trump administration.

The panel is scheduled for 1:30-2:30 p.m. PST Wednesday, Feb. 15 in Room 104 of the Menard Law Building. The panel is free and open to the public.

University of Idaho College of Law associate professor and director of the Immigration Clinic Kate Evans will moderate the panel. Other panelists include Ritchie Eppink, legal director of ACLU of Idaho; Maria Andrade, founder of Andrade Legal; Carolina Silva, student advisor, and Maria Yepez, UndocuQueer representative, of the Crimson Group, a Washington State University organization that supports undocumented students and students protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

The panel will also be livestreamed to Room 136 in the Idaho Law and Justice Center, 514 W Jefferson Street, Boise. 1.0 hours CLE credit is pending.
